What I DIDN’T see in the Virginian Pilot or Daily Press today

PETA killed 95% of the adoptable pets in its “care” in 2008

Despite having a $32 million budget, PETA does not operate an adoption shelter. PETA employees make no discernible effort to find homes for the thousands of pets they kill every year. Last year, the Center for Consumer Freedom petitioned Virginia’s State Veterinarian to reclassify PETA as a slaughterhouse.

Because, you know, actually CARING for animals is much more* expensive than just executing them and tossing their carcasses in dumpsters in North Carolina.

*I corrected my mistake. Oops

PETA has consistently demonstrated that it is not an “animal rights” organization. If anything, it is an anti-human organization.

But as far as I’m concerned, it’s worse than that. I believe that their publicity stunts are nothing more than con games designed to dupe the ignorant and gullible into supporting the lucrative “careers” of the executives who work in that fancy building on the Norfolk waterfront.

In my opinion, PETA is not an issue advocacy organization at all…it is a con…a swindle…a scheme…and its only purpose is to provide salaries for those people behind the mirrored glass of that big building on the Elizabeth river.

  1. I’ve realized that most of these types of organizations don’t really believe in what they promote. Anti-war people will get violent, protect the environment people will eat cheeseburgers or anything else that causes polution.

I see more hypocracy on the liberal side of the political spectrum than on the conservative side.
