Bedfellows?

According to Little Chucky Schumer:

“Right now you walk down the streets in New York or Nassau County or Westchester County, you can have the solace of knowing that if someone has a gun on them, they’ve gone through a rigorous background check,” he said at a Sunday news conference. “After this law, you can have no such comfort.”

Now that’s funny right there.

I think what he meant to say was “Right now, when you walk down the streets in New York or Nassau County or Westchester County, you can have the solace of knowing that if someone has a gun on them, there’s about a 99 percent probability that they’re a criminal. After this law, there’s a good possibility that they might be a law abiding citizen…we can’t have that.”

Why is it that some politicians seem to like criminals so much? They don’t want them to be held accountable and punished severely for their crimes, and they don’t want potential victims to be able to defend themselves against them.

Maybe they’re just trying to help out a kindred spirit?

  1. The libs/socialists want to keep their constituancy helpless serfs/slaves. And most criminals can't make it on their own in the outside real world. That's why they've become criminals (duh). That's also why, periodically, you see the Dems trying to get voting rights BACK to the convicted, so they'll (the Dems) have a broader voting base.

If that makes sense to you, please explain it back to me. I got lost.

  2. Unfortunately, those in Congress have forgotten that they SERVE at our pleasure. Their power is to be limited and controlled. Historically, firearms have served that purpose, whether passively, or to the extreme (as in the Revolutionary War).

These "leaders" are trying to do all in their power (lie, overpromise, hiding facts) to keep their power.

It all comes down to the people with the strongest sense of self-preservation: gun grabbers or 2A defenders. They will fight the hardest for their right.

We have to be the ones to fight the hardest.
