LAYERS of editorial oversight…

One of these things is not like the other:

Scutchfield didn’t make any threats to hurt anyone, say police, but he was carrying an AK-47 assault weapon, a shotgun and plenty of ammunition — which was more than enough cause for concern.

Later, in the same article:

According to police, a local citizen picked Scutchfield up while he was walking along a county road. He did not have any weapons with him.

He later led police to the weapons which were also taken into custody for safekeeping.[emphasis added]

So, there was concern because he was carrying weapons and ammo…that he wasn’t carrying and led police to later.

It is exactly this type of quality reporting from the legacy media that demonstrates why it is so superior to bloggers and amateur journalists who blog from their basements in pajamas with no editorial oversight…

Or something.
