I’ve spoken about Black Privilege before, mainly in the context of black people being able to get away with basically anything because everyone else fears being called “racist” if they call out the poor behavior.
But this meme seen at Stately McDaniel Manor hit me as a tongue in cheek summary of another kind of black privilege.
Blacks have convinced so many people that the legal system is “systemically racist” based on the fact that more black people are arrested, charged with and convicted of crimes than white people (without considering minor details like, who actually committed the crimes), that many judges and prosecutors treat black suspects and convicts with kid gloves lest they be called “racist”.
Whites who are charged with crimes (especially politically motivated charges) don’t get such consideration.
And that meme pretty succinctly depicts it.
